OCD AWARENESS WEEK 2026
October 11-17
Across Canada, landmarks and communities are turning teal for OCD Awareness Week, October 11-17th, 2026.
Find a lighting near you. Help bring teal to a landmark in your community. Or simply turn on a teal light at home.
Every light helps make OCD more visible — and reminds people living with OCD and their families that their communities see them.
Explore the map to find confirmed landmark and community lightings across Canada.
Planning to see the teal in person? Here’s when confirmed landmarks across Canada will be lighting up for OCD Awareness Week. Multi-night lightings are listed first, followed by single-night lightings by date.

Visiting a landmark? Lighting your own corner of Canada? Snap a photo or video. Share it using:

You can also tag #TealForOCD, #OCDWeek and #TogetherAgainstOCD to connect your post with the wider OCD Awareness Week community.
There are two ways to take part:
Ask a landmark to light teal
or
Light your own corner of Canada.
Either way, you can help put your community on the map.
It's probably easier than you think.
Many landmarks, municipal buildings, bridges and public spaces accept requests to illuminate for awareness campaigns. The International OCD Foundation has resources to help, and IOCDF Advocate Stacey Black walks through the process in this short video.
PICK. PITCH. CLICK.
There are only so many landmarks — and you don’t need one to make a difference.
Turn a porch light teal. Put a teal bulb in a window. Light a balcony. Hang teal string lights. Add a teal sign. Light the whole house if you’re feeling particularly committed. 😂
Whatever you’ve got, light it teal for OCD – tell us your city and province/territory and we’ll add your community to the map.
No home address. No complicated submission. Just another teal light showing that OCD is seen here.
Ready to put your community on the map? Use the form below to submit a confirmed landmark or tell us where you’re lighting teal.
Light Canada Teal for OCD is a community-created resource developed by Stacey Black, IOCDF Advocate and co-lead of the Nova Scotia OCD Parent & Caregiver Peer Support Group, to help Canadians find confirmed OCD Awareness Week illuminations — and make it easier for more people to light their own communities teal.
It is not an official publication of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). Landmark information is based on confirmations received and may change.
For home and community submissions, only city and province/territory are displayed. Please do not submit home addresses.
